One of my favourite responsibilities at The Lord Elgin Hotel is helping the sales office with a variety of tasks. These duties include filings papers, addressing letters and even wrapping presents to go under the Christmas tree in the lobby. I really enjoy these jobs because I feel like I am a part of the team. Each project is completely different and I learn so much by working on each of them. They may be really small duties at the time, but in the long run they must be done. I find them so interesting! By doing these assignments, I get a better understanding of how the hotel works and the process that is required to ensure that everything runs smoothly. With each task I gain so much knowledge, while having fun, it is so wonderful for me! Every job I do at the hotel is a different experience and I have enjoyed every single moment of it!
